Victim/Witness Program
Mission Statement:
It is the mission of the Le Sueur County Victim/Witness Program to uphold the rights of general crime victims and help them cope with the traumatic effects
of the criminal act.
The Le Sueur County Victim/Witness Program was started in October of 2000 to serve all victims of crime in Le Sueur County, including those that are not
prosecuted due to lack of evidence or failure to identify the defendant. The Victim/Witness Program is funded by a grant from the Minnesota Center for
Crime Victim Services. Minnesota laws provide all victims of crime with specific rights as listed in state statute chapter 611A. You will be informed of
your rights and will be offered assistance in taking advantage of those rights.

- Assistance in understanding and exercising their rights
