COVID-19 Update

Le Sueur County Parks properties are open to the public.  We would like to encourage families to continue to practice social distancing themselves, but it is also very important to get out of the house, go for walks, hikes, and take in the great outdoors or create new family memories. All of which can still be done within our Parks while practicing proper social distancing.

Lake Washington Regional Park & Campground is currently taking reservations by calling 507-995-1161 and will open for camping to "self-contained units" on June 1, and all others once the shower house facility opens.  The shower house facility will open beginning July 2, and weekends thereafter.

Facility rentals will begin on July 6 at Lake Washington Regional Park & Campground Community Building and Picnic Shelter, and Richter Woods Barn.  Renters will need to adhere to social gathering and distancing guidelines, and work with Le Sueur County Parks on implementing a COVID Preparedness Plan on how their event can operate under the current allowable guidelines.

Porta Potties are available at Lake Washington Regional Park & Campground and Richter Woods Park.  They are also available at Minnesota DNR Boat Accesses within close proximity to Clear Lake Park and Lake Volney Park.
