Le Sueur County Parks maintains nearly 15 miles of trails within its county parks, including walking, hiking, and mountain bike trails, snowshoe, groomed and ungroomed cross country ski trails. There are currently no county owned paved biking trails within Le Sueur County.

There are 63 lakes or bodies of water within Le Sueur County for recreational boating.

Camping
Le Sueur County Parks allows camping in two different county parks, Lake Washington Regional Park & Campground and Clear Lake Park.

Cross-Country Skiing
Cross Country skiing is allowed in all Le Sueur County Parks.

Educational
The Ney Nature Center staff currently provides a wide range of youth, adult, and family programming within the park.

Fishing
There are 63 lakes or bodies of water within Le Sueur County, along with the Minnesota River, providing some of the best fishing that you will find in southern Minnesota.

While all of the Le Sueur County Parks offer open spaces, woods, streams, and trails for a child to learn and experience how to play in nature, there are county parks that feature specific play areas or playgrounds.

Snowmobiling is only allowed in Le Sueur County Parks on designated snowmobile trails.
