Cross-Country Skiing
Cross Country skiing is allowed in all Le Sueur County Parks. Ney Nature Center and Lake Washington Regional Park offer groomed trails. Bradshaw Woods, Rays Lake Park, and Richter Woods are all parks that have ungroomed trails that also get used by cross country skiers. As a general courtesy, please stay off of the trails if you are snowshoeing, walking, hiking, dog-walking, etc.
Ney Nature Center

Winter Equipment (XC Skis or Snowshoes) Rental Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 4:00pm, Saturday - Sunday, 10:00am - 4:00pm.
$3 per member or $5 per non-member

Lake Washington Regional Park
Lake Washington Regional Park has 1.5 miles of groomed trails. Below is the Cross Country Ski Trail map for 2022-2023, with the yellow and blue portions groomed.

Bradshaw Woods
Bradshaw Woods has nearly a half mile ungroomed trail loop that is used in the winter months by cross country skiers, snowshoers, and hikers. View the Trail Map (JPG).
Rays Lake Park
Rays Lake Park has .75 miles of ungroomed trails around the perimeter of the park that is used in the winter months by cross country skiers, snowshoers, and hikers.
Richter Woods
Richter Woods has 2.5 miles of ungroomed trails within the park that are used in the winter months by cross country skiers, snowshoers, and hikers. This is a popular location for blazing your own ski trails through the woods. View the Trail Map (PDF).
