There are a number of bodies of water to enjoy paddling sports on within Le Sueur County, including canoeing, kayaking, and stand up paddleboarding. Any lake within the county can be accessed for paddling from a public water access site.

Minnesota River & Cannon River

The Minnesota River and Cannon River can also provide possible paddling opportunities within Le Sueur County. Le Sueur County maintains 3 water access points on the Minnesota River, near Kasota, Ottawa, and Henderson. Make sure to use extreme caution and judgment when heading out on the Minnesota River, as water levels, flows, and river structure is constantly changing.
