Picnic Areas

Nearly all of the Le Sueur County Parks feature picnic areas. Outdoor picnic tables are located in the following:

Clear Lake Park

Campsites include a picnic table and fire ring.

Geldner Saw Mill & Park

There are picnic tables located throughout the park.

Henderson Station River Access & Park

The park features a covered picnic shelter and tables.

Lake Jefferson Fishing Pier

Picnic tables are located along the shoreline and on the pier.

Ney Nature Center

Picnic areas are located throughout the park, near the Nature Center, Homestead, and lookouts.

Ray's Lake Park

There are picnic tables located on top of the hill near the trees.

Richter Woods Park

There are picnic tables located in the park near the barn, in addition to spread out throughout the trail system. For information on renting the barn, read Richter Woods Barn Rental Information (PDF).

Lake Volney Park

Located near the sand volleyball courts are picnic tables.

Lake Washington Regional Park & Campground

There are picnic tables located throughout the park and campground, including near the community building, open field, and dock. Some of the picnic tables also have fire pits or grates located near them. The campground also features a large picnic shelter that may be rented out (PDF).
