ASHLEY & CARL BURKLAND, MADISON LAKE, MN (APPLICANT\OWNER):

Request that the County grant a Conditional Use Permit to allow grading excavating and filling of 60 cubic yards on a lot, of which 23 cubic yards located in the bluff impact zone, 18 cubic yards in the bluff, in a Recreational Residential “RR” District, Lake Jefferson, a Recreational Development “RD” lake.   Property is located in Biehn’s Southview, Lot 9, Block 1, Section 4, Washington Township.

TRULIE BOLTON, MANKATO, MN, (APPLICANT\OWNER):

Request that the County grant a Conditional Use Permit to allow grading, excavating and filling in the bluff and bluff impact zone.  The exaction in in the bluff would not exceed 15 cubic yards and the excavation in the bluff impact zone will not exceed 22 cubic yards.  All of the proposed activity is to facilitate the installation of a new septic system in an Urban/Rural Residential R1” District.   Property is located in Arrowood Subdivision, Lot 24, Block 2, Section 8, Kasota Township.

Request that the County grant a Conditional Use Permit to allow grading, excavating, and filling of approximately 1665 cubic yards of material the lot of an existing trucking business.  The proposed activity would include the removal of a previous parking area, restoration, and the creation of a new parking area in an Agriculture “A” District and Special Protection “SP” Shoreland District.   Property is located in the NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4, Section 10, Lanesburgh Township.

Planning & Zoning Commission Public Hearing Procedure:  The Chairman calls the meeting to order, then calls the item to be heard and asks the Applicant or representative present to come to the podium to answer any questions or present any comments.  The Chairman opens the meeting to the public.  Each speaker comes to the podium and states their name for the record prior to making a statement or posing a question.  All questions or comments are to be directed to the board, NOT THE APPLICANT.  After the public comments the Planning Commission publicly discusses the information and reviews the findings before making a motion.  All meetings are recorded.
