request that the County grant a Variance from the Le Sueur County Zoning Ordinance to reduce the setback from the Ordinary High Water Level (OHWL) from 100 feet to 88 feet to accommodate a deck in a Recreational Residential “RR” Shoreland District, Lake Washington, a Recreational Development “RD” lake.  Property is located in the Lot 2, Block 4, Connor’s Point Subdivision, Section 18, Washington Township.  VARIANCE IS FOR OHWL setback.

 request that the County grant a Variance from the Le Sueur County Zoning Ordinance to reduce required setback from a Township road Right-Of-Way (ROW) from 65 feet to 28 feet, reduce the Ordinary High Water Level (OHWL) setback of the lake from 100 feet to 38 feet; increase the allowed impervious surface from 25% to 34.2% to accommodate the replacement of an existing house in a Recreational Residential “RR” Shoreland District, Lake Washington, a Recreational Development “RD” lake.  Property is located at Lot 34, Baker Bay, Section 12, Kasota Township.  VARIANCE IS FOR road row SETBACK AND IMPERVIOUS SURFACE.

request that the County grant a Variance from the Le Sueur County Zoning Ordinance to enlarge a nonconforming structure to enclose an existing deck to a 4-season porch and reduce the bluff setback from 30 feet to 14 feet, and for lot size in a Recreational Residential “RR” Shoreland District, German Lake, a Recreational Development “RD” lake.  Property is located in the Lots 1, 2, & 3, Stavenau Beach, Section 9, Elysian Township.   VARIANCE IS FOR lot size, enlarging a nonconforming structure, and bluff setback.

Board of Adjustment Hearing Procedure:  The Chairman calls the meeting to order, then calls the item to be heard and asks the Applicant or representative present to come to the podium to answer any questions or present any comments.  The Chairman opens the meeting to the public.  Each speaker comes to the podium and states their name for the record prior to making a statement or posing a question.  All questions or comments are to be directed to the board, not the applicant.  After the public comments the Board of Adjustment publicly discusses the information and reviews the findings before making a motion.  All meetings are recorded.
