Le Sueur County Offices now openThe Le Sueur County Courthouse at 88 S Park Avenue, Le Center, MN will be open to the public during regular business hours 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, starting February 22nd, 2021.• The public entrance will be the West Doors off of S. Lexington Ave.• Masks are required to enter the building and to be worn at all times.• Social distancing should be maintained.Please read below for Department availability of services.For general information, please call 507-357-2251 License BureauThe License Bureau will be open, without appointments, beginning Monday, February 22nd, 2021, from the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Fridays.Please follow the guidelines below:• If you are renewing a driver’s license, please pre-apply online Here before coming in.• When applying for a Real ID or Enhanced ID, if you are missing, or have incorrect documentation, we will not be able to assist you.• The Real ID deadline has been extended to October 1, 2021.• Per State statute, when renewing license tabs or transferring title, you need to provide vehicle insurance information, company name, policy number and expiration date.• We will assist the last customer of the day at 3:30 p.m. (Mon-Thur.) and 3:00 p.m. (Friday). If you are in line but not being assisted, you will need to come back another day.The License Bureau accepts check or cash only. We have an ATM in the building as well.RecorderStarting Monday, February 22, 2021, the Recorder’s Office will be open to the public from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday thru Thursday and 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Fridays. To make an appointment call 507-357-8538.Public Hearings: Board of Adjustment and Planning Commission meetings (public hearings) will continue to be held virtually. Some on-site Agriculture and Horticulture visits will be available. However, any on-site visits should be booked 1 to 2 days in advance if possible. Lake Washington Regional Park & Campground will begin taking reservations on April 1 by calling 507-995-1161.Public HealthPublic Health programs and services will continue to be provided by phone, electronic and virtual visits. Home health care continues to provide services in the home and referrals are accepted on a case by case basis at this time. Office visits by appointment only.
