Lake Emily Park
Lake Emily Park is a Le Sueur County Park in cooperation with the Lake Emily Lake Association, located on the south side of Lake Emily in Washington Township, near St. Peter. The small and quiet 1.5 acre park sits on a hillside overlooking the lake, while multiple species of trees within the park offer solitude. Le Sueur County provides a fishing dock and owns 1,000 feet of shoreline within the park that provides areas for fishing the known:
To access the park, you can park in the gravel parking lot located off of County Highway 107.
Le Sueur County also owns Ludwick Island, a2 acre island located on the south portion of the 300 acre lake. The island provides a great location for the public to canoe or kayak around, stop for a rest, or hike on. The only access to the island is by small watercrafts . The best option to launch a canoe or kayak on Lake Emily is to use the Department of Natural Resources Lake Emily State Water Access Site.
